Beautiful friend, your gracious support has deeply touched me. I am humbled by your open heart and your creative spirit. This is a big place and I am exhilarated by the vastness of it’s reach.
Christmas Cheers
Japan… For many Japanese, the traditional Christmas dinner consists of Kentucky Fried Chicken. So popular and well-marketed is the concept that most KFC restaurants accept reservations on Christmas day.
May we remember that we are all children of the earth; kindred spirits, brothers and sisters, members of the great family of love. May our hearts and minds be joined as one; unified within, so without.
Norway… Norwegian legend has it that hoards of witches and evil spirits come out on Christmas Eve searching for brooms to ride on. Thus, to this day, Norwegian women traditionally hide their brooms, mops and brushes from sight on Christmas Eve, while men sometimes fire a shotgun outside the house to scare the witches away.
May we choose love over fear; unity and harmony over separation and discord. May we have the strength to claim our authentic power; standing true in word, action and deed, and with firm resolve be the change we wish to see in the world.
Czech Republic… On Christmas Eve, unmarried Czech women carry out an annual tradition to predict their relationship status for the forthcoming year. Standing with their backs to a door, they toss one of their shoes over their shoulder. If, when it lands, the toe faces the door, the thrower will marry within the year but if the heel faces the door, they will remain unmarried for another year.
May we have courage to look for the blessing in every moment, and the audacity to celebrate it! May we breathe prayers of thanks into each moment, and with reverence honour the gift this life brings… this is my prayer,,, it is so, and so it is!
Australia… On Christmas Eve, baby kangaroos gather in the towns centre prepareing to pull Santa’s sleigh… ok, ok, ok… that ones a myth. Mostly it’s beach, bathers and more beach,,, with an array of sumptuous food in-between, all wrapped up in an abundance of delicious thick LOVE… ahhh!
ONE love sent TWICE!!! I’ll be in touch again in the New Year… Rest up! PERFECT PEACE TO ALL!
P.S. Thanks honey for filling my visual gaps with your divine artwork… you’re totally RAD!

/ January 3, 2013I love the Japanese KFC tradition. I come from a large family and I have friends who say KFC reminds them of my family because we always had it growing up…I don’t tell a lot of people that.
